about
Kevin Bach is a Vietnamese-American chef whose cooking is rooted in the flavors of Saigon and the West Coast.
He spent multiple seasons cooking at Que by Kaarem in Ho Chi Minh City, where he developed weekly menus shaped by the city's markets, seasonal Vietnamese ingredients, and the daily rhythm of life in Vietnam.
Raised in San Jose, California, and now based in Seattle, Kevin also cooks at Archipelago, a Filipino fine-dining restaurant that explores Pacific Northwest stories through Filipino heritage. His background in Vietnamese cooking, 7 years in Filipino kitchens, and the landscapes of California and Washington continue to shape the way he approaches flavor, seasonality, and hospitality.
Kevin's cooking is guided by instinct, memory, and a deep respect for place. Whether preparing an intimate dinner, a pop-up, or a shared meal among friends, he believes food is one of the most meaningful ways to bring people together.
Every dish is an invitation to gather, connect, and share a moment around the table.
